The Archdiocese of Seattle’s Northern Deanery currently has two PreK-8 parish schools, a robust home-schooling community, and well-attended religious education programs for children. Yet, there is no Catholic high school to serve students in this region.

Local Pastoral leadership and a parent-led Steering Committee, along with the Seattle Archdiocese Office of Catholic Schools, Fulcrum foundation, and Ferry Foundation, have joined together to determine the viability of a Northern Deanery Catholic High School. This group spent over eighteen months discerning how to best support this endeavor from a leadership, financial, and community involvement perspective.

In March 2024, the Meitler consulting group was hired to measure our community’s level of support for a Catholic high school. They recently ran a community feasibility survey to help determine the viability of the school, where to locate the school, and also inform the team about the educational needs, preferences, and expectations for the school. The feasibility study results are expected to be released on this site in early July 2024.

The collective vision is to form a Catholic high school in the Northern Deanery that is rooted in the Catholic faith and tradition of academic excellence. The goal is to empower students to achieve their greatest intellectual and spiritual potential, becoming faith-filled leaders both committed to service and prepared for success in college and in life.
